I Mate Mobile Phones
Imate phones are popular as Windows Mobile-powered devices. The company was launched by Jim Morrison, who was earlier with O2 that designed the first O2 XDA Pocket PC phone. He set up i-mate with his team in Glasgow, Scotland, which was later shifted to Dubai, and is now operational in many countries including the UK. Since its inception and by the end of the year 2006, it has sold many branded versions of PPC phones and smart mobile phones, which were manufactured by HTC, a Taiwanese mobile device giant. The compelling mobile content and the applications offered by its devices have made i-mate successful in attaining the market leading position in several parts of the world.
